Valtra Launches 6th Generation T Series With 245 HP and FarmENGAGE Connectivity

Updated: Oct 7
Valtra has launched the sixth generation of its T Series tractors, introducing an all new 170 to 245 horsepower range built around a new powertrain, updated operator controls and integrated farm data connectivity.
The range uses AGCO Power's CORE75, a 7.5 litre six cylinder engine. In the T236 model it produces up to 245 horsepower and 1,184 Nm of torque.
AGCO says laboratory testing showed up to 5 percent lower best point specific fuel consumption than the previous 74HD engine. Independent validation testing is expected by the end of 2026, so the efficiency figure remains a manufacturer laboratory result for now.
Operators can choose between the AGCO ML 180 continuously variable transmission and a new ten step powershift transmission, with transport speeds reaching 57 km/h depending on specification and local road rules.
The new SmartTouch Gen2 interface uses a 12 inch touchscreen and offers ten times the processing power of the previous system, with configurable work screens, operator profiles and integrated guidance and implement management.
The tractors are also factory ready for PTx FarmENGAGE, allowing machine data, tasks and agronomic information to move between the field and farm office and supporting mixed fleet operations.
Additional automation includes Tractor Implement Management, Ground Speed Hydraulics and Front Linkage Control, while Valtra Unlimited continues to offer factory customisation for farming, contracting, forestry and municipal applications.
Orders opened on October 1, with first deliveries expected by the end of 2026 subject to availability. The launch puts connectivity and operator workflow at the centre of Valtra's largest T Series redesign to date.
