USDA Opens 2027 Grain Exporter Registration With December 15 Directory Deadline
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has opened annual registration for U.S. grain exporters for 2027. Exporters that want to be included in USDA’s January 2027 Grain Exporter Directory must register by December 15, 2026.
The registration is administered through USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service under the U.S. Grain Standards Act. The directory gives foreign buyers and other market participants an official listing of U.S. grain exporters.
The deadline is about commercial visibility
The December 15 date is not a new tariff, quota or destination-country market-access deadline. Its immediate significance is inclusion in the January directory.
Registration does not replace shipment-level requirements. Exporters still need to meet applicable contracts, inspection obligations, phytosanitary rules, customs requirements and destination-market import conditions.
