Massey Ferguson Taps ITL to Expand Compact Tractor Range Across Europe and Middle East

Updated: Oct 7
Massey Ferguson has signed a strategic supply partnership with International Tractors Limited to expand its low horsepower and compact tractor portfolio across Europe and the Middle East.
The collaboration will add a value oriented range starting at 20 horsepower, with a phased introduction planned across the Europe and Middle East region during 2027.
AGCO says the products are aimed at a broader customer group that includes private landowners, municipalities, grounds care professionals and part time farmers as well as traditional agricultural users.
International Tractors Limited will bring significant manufacturing scale to the partnership. The company has annual production capacity of about 300,000 tractors and builds Stage V and Tier 4 compliant platforms for international markets.
The tractors will be developed to Massey Ferguson specifications and sold through the brand's dealer and support network, combining outsourced manufacturing with Massey Ferguson product positioning and customer service.
The partnership reflects growing competition in compact equipment, where established agricultural machinery brands are trying to serve customers outside large scale commercial farming while still using existing dealer networks.
AGCO has not disclosed pricing or full model specifications in the announcement, and the rollout remains subject to product development, approvals and the phased introduction schedule.
For dealers, the strategic significance is portfolio breadth. Massey Ferguson can enter more low horsepower use cases without building the entire manufacturing base itself, while ITL gains access to a major global agricultural machinery brand and distribution network.
