GreenTech North America Opens in Philadelphia With 110 Exhibitors Focused on CEA

Updated: 7 days ago
GreenTech North America has opened at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, bringing the global horticulture technology event to North America for the first time.
Organizers report 110 exhibitors in a sold-out exhibition hall, with growers, breeders, technology suppliers, researchers and industry executives attending from the United States, Canada and international markets.
The two-day event focuses on controlled-environment agriculture, including greenhouse production, automation, energy management, digital growing, artificial intelligence and technologies for vegetables, soft fruit, ornamentals and other high-value crops.
Pennsylvania is using the event to highlight its own agricultural technology ecosystem. State officials point to investments in agricultural innovation grants, robotics, indoor growing and research partnerships as part of a broader strategy to attract technology and manufacturing activity.
GreenTech's entry into the North American market also reflects increasing demand for a dedicated platform around greenhouse and CEA economics. Energy costs, labor availability, automation and capital efficiency have become core commercial questions for operators.
The event runs September 23 and 24. Its first edition gives equipment suppliers and growers a new North American meeting point for evaluating technologies that have traditionally had stronger trade-show visibility in Europe.
