Global Food Week 2026 Expands Abu Dhabi Trade and Food Security Programme

Global Food Week will return to ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from October 6 to 8, 2026, bringing agriculture, food manufacturing, hospitality, food security and investment activity into one programme.

ADNEC Group is organising the event in strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority. Organisers describe the third edition as the largest held so far.

The scale claim builds on the 2025 edition, which the Abu Dhabi Media Office says featured more than 2,000 exhibitors and brands from 75 countries, welcomed more than 40,000 visitors and generated agreements worth AED 6.6 billion. Those figures describe the previous edition, not a forecast of confirmed 2026 attendance.

A new consumer element is being added alongside the established business programme. Shop at the Show will allow visitors to buy directly from participating exhibitors while giving brands a route to demonstrate products to consumers.

The professional programme covers primary production, food processing, logistics, supply chains and circular economy solutions. Buyers, investors, suppliers, farmers, manufacturers, innovators and government representatives are among the groups targeted by the organisers.

New sectors for 2026 include animal feed and a dedicated honey exhibition and symposium developed with the International Federation of Beekeepers’ Associations. International pavilions and the Hosted Buyers Programme are also scheduled to return.

The Global Food Security Summit will run within the week, with sessions focused on international cooperation, investment, artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, water management and resilient supply chains. An expanded AgriTech Forum and a Farmers Market are also part of the programme.

The exhibition is scheduled across Halls 6 to 11 and the ICC Hall at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Official visitor information lists opening hours from 9 in the morning until 6 in the evening on each of the three days.
