ForFarmers Completes 50.5% Controlled Poland Poultry and Feed Joint Venture

Updated: Oct 7
ForFarmers and KPS Food Group have completed the formation of ForFarmers Polska, bringing Tasomix feed activities together with KPS poultry production, processing and marketing operations.
ForFarmers holds a 50.5 percent majority stake in the joint venture and will consolidate the business fully, while the founders of Tasomix and KPS remain minority shareholders.
The transaction was first announced in February and has now cleared the required shareholder and local competition approvals.
The combination links animal feed production directly with poultry farming, slaughtering, processing and sales, creating a more vertically integrated structure in one of Europe's important poultry markets.
ForFarmers says the venture strengthens its position in Poland by combining Tasomix's feed expertise with KPS's established poultry operations.
KPS owns poultry farms, processing assets and food production activities, while Tasomix has been one of ForFarmers' main platforms in the Polish feed market.
A second, separate joint venture covering specific sales activities and contracts remains part of the wider agreement and is expected to close in the coming months.
The completed main transaction gives ForFarmers a controlling position in an integrated Polish poultry value chain at a time when feed costs, processing scale and supply coordination remain central competitive factors.
