BW Packaging to Run Integrated Packaging Line at PACK EXPO International 2026

BW Packaging will demonstrate a complete connected packaging line at PACK EXPO International 2026 in Chicago, bringing multiple stages of secondary and primary packaging together in a single operating system.

The demonstration at booth S 2100 is scheduled to include bag filling, sealing, labeling, case erecting, robotic case packing and robotic palletising. BW says this is the first time it will present a full line of its equipment together at the show.

The approach reflects a broader equipment industry shift from selling individual machines toward integrated production systems. Manufacturers increasingly want controls, material handling and packaging equipment to communicate across the line rather than operate as isolated assets.

For food and beverage plants, integration can reduce handoffs between equipment suppliers and simplify responsibility for line performance, but it also raises the importance of controls architecture, service capability and changeover design.

PACK EXPO International runs October 18 through 21 at McCormick Place in Chicago. BW Packaging is using the event to position its portfolio around expanded manufacturing capability and lifetime support rather than a single machine launch.

The live line is expected to give processors a direct view of how filling and closing equipment can connect with downstream case handling and palletising, areas where labour availability and automation remain major investment drivers.
