Breville's Oracle Dual Boiler BES995 is a premium espresso machine built for buyers who want more automation than a traditional prosumer setup without giving up manual control. Breville currently lists the brushed stainless steel model at $2,999.95 in the United States, placing it firmly in the high end home and light professional conversation.

Its core hardware is a dual stainless steel boiler system with PID temperature control, allowing espresso extraction and milk steaming at the same time. That is the practical advantage of the design, faster drink preparation and fewer compromises between brew temperature stability and steam availability.

A 5.7 inch touch screen provides two operating paths. Auto mode guides the user through preparation, while Manual mode exposes more direct control over grinding, extraction and milk texturing. The machine is therefore positioned as a bridge between push button convenience and a conventional semi automatic workflow.

Breville's Auto Dial In system evaluates extraction and adjusts the next grind setting, while Auto Puck handles grinding, dosing and tamping. The integrated Baratza burr set provides 45 grind settings, reducing the number of separate tools required but also tying the workflow closely to the machine's own grinder and software.

Auto MilQ supports dairy, soy, almond and oat settings, with temperature choices from 115°F to 165°F and nine texture levels. Those controls are useful for households or small hospitality settings serving different milk types, although results will still depend on the milk formulation, freshness and drink size.

The Oracle Dual Boiler uses a 58 millimeter portafilter and a 22 gram dose, dimensions associated with commercial style espresso preparation. Breville also includes automatic purging and assisted cleaning functions, features intended to reduce routine friction rather than remove the need for maintenance.

WiFi connectivity links the machine to the Breville+ app for remote power on and preheating. The unit measures about 17.9 by 14.6 by 14.8 inches, so buyers should confirm counter depth, overhead clearance and access to water filling before treating it as a straightforward appliance replacement.

This is most compelling for an experienced coffee buyer who values simultaneous brewing and steaming, guided dialing in and integrated milk automation. The price is difficult to justify for occasional use, and the dense feature set adds complexity. This assessment is based on Breville's published specifications and pricing, not hands on testing.
