StoneX Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Integra Trading S.A.S., expanding its physical coffee business into direct Colombian sourcing, processing and export operations.

Integra is a coffee trader, exporter and bean processor with a certified processing mill near Medellín in Antioquia, one of Colombia's major coffee producing regions.

StoneX plans to integrate the business into its Supply and Trading segment through its Swiss trading entity, adding local infrastructure to a coffee operation that already connects producers, roasters and commercial buyers across multiple origins.

The acquisition gives StoneX more direct access to Colombia, the world's largest producer of washed arabica coffee and a critical origin for specialty and commercial buyers.

Owning local processing capacity can give a trading company greater control over quality, preparation, traceability and shipment timing than a model based only on purchasing export ready coffee from third parties.

The transaction also comes during a period of unusually volatile coffee prices, when weather, logistics, currency movements and tight inventories have increased the value of reliable origin access.

StoneX did not disclose the purchase price in its announcement. The deal remains subject to customary closing conditions before Integra becomes part of the group's physical commodities platform.

For Colombian producers and international buyers, the practical significance will depend on how StoneX uses the mill and local network, including whether it expands financing, procurement, specialty programs or export capacity through the acquired business.
