Redox Launches RDX Flex Foliar Product for In Season Nitrogen Management

Redox Bio Nutrients has expanded its nitrogen product portfolio with RDX Flex, a foliar formulation designed for in season use in crop fertility programs.

The product contains 10 percent urea nitrogen and uses the same patented botanical extract technology found in the company's RDX N product. Redox says the technology is intended to support plant processes involved in nitrogen assimilation and conversion into amino acids and other compounds.

The distinction between the two products is primarily placement and timing. RDX N is positioned for soil application at planting, while RDX Flex is designed for later foliar applications.

Redox says the products can be used independently or together depending on crop requirements, nitrogen strategy and the existing fertility program. The company also describes RDX Flex as compatible with a range of commonly applied crop inputs.

The launch comes as growers face continued pressure to improve nutrient efficiency while managing fertilizer costs and environmental constraints. Foliar products can provide additional timing flexibility, although they do not automatically replace the broader nitrogen requirement of a crop.

RDX Flex is commercially available through Redox Bio Nutrients. Performance will still depend on crop, application timing, environmental conditions and the overall fertility system in which it is used.
